Oh, no one Wi Fi model! I have used 8 to double six ESP 8 to double 6 Wi Fi model. You can use a couple of cables: two LED lights, two resistors for capacitor and one voltage regulator. This is the 3.3 volt regulator. This is the AMS people 17 voltage. So this is the basic architecture, so this Wi Fi module requires the constant 3.3 voltage. So we have to create the power supply module for 3.3 voltage, so it can give a constant supply of 3.3 volt and we will create this model later. But for now let’s discuss the all pins of the of the model and how to connect them and where to connect them. So so first plane will go to the ground other 2i g, p0 and g p1. We don’t need them right now, so we can just keep them. So third, pane is the RX field, which will directly go to the earth. Dino pin number 3, so this pinion will require the three point. Three voltage supply this, and these two pins require the same voltage supply. So we have connected these two. These voltage supply and this field go to the pin number 2. This is the TX pin and LEDs will be connected to the Dino on any pins you want, but yeah. We will see it later. Let’S create the power supply model first. So this is the front side of the voltage regulator. This is the 5 volt input.

This is 3.3 volt output, and this is ground. You have to connect this capacitor with the voltage regulators, the long one this one you have to connect this with 3.3 output and this one will go to the ground Music. As you can see here, we have connected the five volt here and capacitor is connected with the 3.3 voltage output, and this is connected to the ground. This module will generate the constant 3.3 voltage supply, which we will need for the Wi Fi module. This module here will generate the 3.3 constant supply which we need, for the esp8266 grounds will connect these for the ground. If you let a connect this to the ground to the arduino, these two pins will not require right now, so we will just keep them, and after that, this is the RX pin so connect these two Music. So this will go to the pin number 3 on the ordinal, so this is the 3.3 power supply and this is the ground. So we have connected the ground pin right here, so this pin is connected to the ground and this one is. This pin is connected to the Rx to the pin number 3 on the ordinal, so let’s connect the next pin, which is they send this. So these two pins will go to the three point: three power supply module. So this is here, so this one is this one here let’s connect this, and this will go here and next thing is this one right here, so this is for second and third, so this is for stable and third, this will also go to the three point.

Three power supply right here and the last pin this one will go to the pin number two on the article. So let’s connect the last pin this one right here and this will go to the pin number. To only add you know, so we have two LED lights, which will be connected to the pin number. Six and seven you can connect on anyone, but L selected the six and seven so let’s connect so small one. This one will go to the ground and this one will go to the pin domotics or seven. This is also the small one will go to the ground and big one will go to the positive. Let us connect the resistors let’s connect these to pin number seven and these to pin number six is the pin number six and this one right here is the pin number, sir, so secret. So this one with seven and this one pins on page six after this let’s connect the power supply modules to our breadboard. So this one right here this will go to the five five volt power supply. So let’s connect that, and this right here middle one. It will go to the three point: three power output, so we’ll connect that here – and this is the ground – this is Miss Villopoto here Music, so now connect the last ground pin to the breadboard and we are good to go. This will rise. The ground pin directly put here now we are done with the connection.

Let’S see the iPhone application part. So this is our pin number 2 and 3. This is 30 X and this is the RX. These are the 80 commands, so I written the one method for that to run the 80 commands. I don’t know what is wrong with my, so this is the method which will run the 80 command and you can find the link in the description. So I have loaded the code yeah, so this is a simple code on the app you have to send the pin equal to and the pin number so this will. I read the character after the equal to sign and this will it will travel there every time like if you, if you send it here like 7, then it will give you the character 7 and it will light up the 7th or toggle or we can set All the seven things you have to select their views you wan na, make sure you have selected them within some time. It may take time to automatically it’s like you can see your monitor, so it is our server. 1. 1. 9. 2. 2. 1. 6. 8. 4. Point 1, so this is our server, so we have to heat this so so we have connected our app to that server and 140. Of course, and after that I returned one function to write or not outputs in so when we tap on 6 button 6 and I have taken the two buttons like 4 6 amp 7.

These are two buttons. So if I type 6, then this thing will be sent to the server and this will be written on the output stream and we can’t be in here. Music we’re, like we’ll, find out first in equal to 6. So we’ll go up till this and then, after that it will do this character 6. This will be a side, character, 6, so that’s it and 62 right to the 6 and richenthal on the team. So, to run this core point device, you will need the develop account you cannot run without. So I have connected the USB to my machine and also connected to my phone so try and render a tree no cords and the after that and then the first of all just make sure that you are connected to the device. And after that, this is the application, so just make sure guys you connect the Wi Fi first and after that you have to open the app or restart the app again, if it’s not working, then restart the app again. Thank you for watching guys comment down the questions.

  1. Hello sir, great video! I was wondering if there is ANY possible way to do this except only with a logic level converter instead of the 3.3 volt regulator. Also, does the capacitor have to be that exact value? I have a 50 volt, 1 uf capacitor and was wondering if that would work. I am working on trying to make the esp8266 control a servo motor via my command on my smartphone, and am just esxperimenting with the module. If you could help that would be great! Thanks!

    1. You can try it, but first without connecting esp use multimeter to see the voltage output, it must be 3.3v then u can connect esp safely

  2. how do i run the application on android…i did open the project in android studio but how to proceed after that?

  3. Can you tell me that
1.I opened android code files on android studio. What do i do next?
2.I want to add something on android code.
Where should I fix this code because there are so many code files?
    Thank you for great video.

    1. You can change in MainActivity. java, it has all the code,

      app>src>main>java>com>teenenggr>esp8266_wifi_ledcontrol>MainActivity. java

  4. 1.Eps 8266 does not connect to wifi(not connect to internet)?
2.How far to control it for this method?
    Thank you

  5. please tell me how you connect the android app with arduino? its automatically connected with arduino if i gave the ip address as you’ve given?

    1. @Teenenggr
SoftwareSerial esp8266(2,3); // make TX Arduino line is pin 2, make RX Arduino line is pin 3.
sir i want to ask if we dont want to connect TX and RX as power supply should i connect battery to breadboard or ardiuno??

  6. do we have to use any resistor if we use the 3.3V pin of the arduino to power the wifi module ? thank you in advance for your answers

    1. in some sites on the web some people uses resistors between the connection of tx and rx rx and tx of esp8266 and arduino . but I see that in your video u dont use any resisitor. in the datasheet is written that the wifi module can use max 12 mA but the uotput of the pin of arduino uno is 50mA. I am a little confused XD

  7. can someone help me please ? is possible to control a relay and for exapmle a step motor in the same time? becuase we have only one tx and one rx one the esp8266 module. can the arduino recognise the different data that the esp module is sending or is possible that the esp module sends a different data for each action? thank you in advance

  8. I want to use relays with the node mcu but the relays are not working only the led which are there at relay they just blinking.

  9. @Teenenggr actually I am using 4 channel relay which is connected to nodemcu and I am using blynk app when I turn on the button from blynk app the led which are there in relay it’s blinking but the relay not switching

    1. Teenenggr
I mean, if inhave to use the output (led) signal from the arduino that has low voltage, how can i use that to energize a relay that needs higher voltage to ebergize?

  10. this video is very complicated and at 8:30 ,it video ran very quickly so it not considerable for general person like scholars
