I bought this board for my DIY Gameboy based on a Raspberry Pi Zero. The Display and the RP0 works perfectly together. You only have to connect on of the two composite Wires with the TV output of the RP0 and connect ground and there you go. The controller board is rated for 6-12 volt but I get it running on 5V. Only problem are some ghosting and glittering. Alternative you can remove the 12-6V —> 5 internal buck converter of the controller board and solve this issue. The Resolution of the board is ok for low res Games but you can hardly read any text so I it‘s recommend to use a other Retropie Theme with bigger fonts. All in all I think this board is a great an cheap alternativ for everyone who like to build an DIY Gameboy No docs.
Price is right. Power it with 12vdc . (no docs or labels on pcb) A video input is required for the display to power up. I put mine in a cigarette package sized box, power it by a small 3s lipo with 2 out put jacks and use it to adjust my security cameras or connect a stand alone camera to view anything u want. Good picture Ninguna
None
